When I searched for upper epicanthoplasty on YouTube, there was a doctor criticizing upper epicanthoplasty, so I thought, “If I do it here, it’ll turn out well,” and went there. I didn’t even look around at other hospitals. Other plastic surgery clinics in Seomyeon somehow felt like factory-style clinics.
I wanted to get canthoplasty because I only wanted the front Mongolian fold removed so that the double eyelid that was tucked in at the front would show, so the director matched what I wanted best: not excessive, subtle, like I had it done but also like I didn’t.
The photo is from day 5, and there really wasn’t much swelling.
The staff were super kind, and since it was Valentine’s Day, they gave me a snack gift too, so I was grateful.
