Before getting the 3-part facial contouring, my cheekbones were not that severe, but my jaw was asymmetrical, so one side looked bigger, and my square jaw was somewhat severe. So I decided to tidy up the cheekbone line just a little and got 3-part facial contouring! I wanted a certain degree of naturalness rather than a doll-like line, so I told the director about this, and they preserved the mandibular angle below the ear while contouring effectively, so I am very satisfied with that part!
At 1-2 months after surgery, my lips looked slightly twisted, but the director said it was normal and that if I did a lot of mouth exercises, it would come back quickly. I worked hard at them, and it really all came back! Even after surgery, if you diligently do the mouth exercises or mouth-opening practice that the hospital teaches you, your recovery will probably be faster! At first I was lazy and did not do them well, but the difference between doing them and not doing them was really huge.
Now that it has been 1 year, I am living my daily life just as comfortably as before surgery. The only thing that changed is my face shape, and things like hairstyles I could not really do before, or wearing hats I did not used to wear! Of course I can open my mouth well, and I can eat without any problem, so if anything, I think I gained more weight than in the early period after contouring... My pronunciation is also just as good as before surgery, to the point that I really forget I had surgery!
For me, both the effect and satisfaction of 3-part facial contouring were high, so I think it is one of the surgeries I am really glad I did!
