My nose is a saddle nose with a retracted columella, a slight hump, a drooping nasal tip, and it is slightly small
The nose I want has a straight nasal bridge and a rounded, defined nasal tip, and this hospital seemed good at that style, so I got a consultation
I think I waited about 2 hours (including CT scan and consultation with the consultant)
I took the CT first and then consulted with the consultant, and they were very kind and explained things in detail
After that, I waited for the director, but the client? consulting before me seemed to have a lot of questions, so it took a really long time… So the staff apologized two or three times for making me wait so long, brought me something to drink, and explained the reason for the wait
The consultation with the director was very calm, and they looked a bit tired My nose was not a difficult case, but there were many small things that needed to be done, so I got a lot of diagnoses. Since my nasal bridge is not on the low side, they said 1–1.5 mm for the nasal bridge, but 4 mm for the indented saddle area in the middle. For the nasal tip, they mentioned ear cartilage, and for the columella, costal cartilage and septal cartilage. They said my septal cartilage is on the small side, so costal cartilage would have to be used
I hadn’t thought about using costal cartilage, so for now I only made a reservation with donated costal cartilage, and it’s not finalized yet
After that, I talked about the cost with the consultant, and maybe they sensed that I was a bit hesitant, because they said their acquaintance also had it done at this hospital and that they had introduced them!
And the consultant also told me that the director said they could make it well with confidence
