I had a stye scar when I was young, so my eyes became really, really, seriously asymmetrical, and it stressed me out. This time I finally made up my mind and got double eyelid surgery. The hospital consultation went really well and felt trustworthy, so I didn’t really do consultation rounds and just had it done at the first hospital I visited for a consultation. They said creating a line and things like that would be very tricky because of the scar, so I asked them to focus as much as possible on improving the asymmetry rather than cosmetic purposes. It’s now almost been a month, and I’m so, so, so satisfied!!! I look so much better in photos too. Honestly, I knew going in that double eyelid surgery wouldn’t dramatically change my face, but maybe because my eye asymmetry was severe, when I saw the before-and-after photos, it really was dramatically different lolol.... I was shocked. So now I feel much more confident, and I’m so excited thinking about getting epicanthoplasty in winter!!
