From the first day my stitches were removed, I had a foreign-body sensation in one eye, but recently only that eye has been hurting especially badly, so I went to the clinic. They said we could either release or loosen only the fixation at the painful area.
The doctor says that if it hurts, we should release the fixation, but my leave of absence is over and I have to work now, so if it keeps hurting too much, I’m thinking of enduring it for a bit and reconsidering around the holiday period. But I’m wondering if it would still be okay to do it then..
People say you need at least 6 months for the wound area to heal. It hasn’t even been 1 month since the surgery, so even if it’s only partial, is it okay to re-incise the area that was cut and release the fixation?
When I look straight ahead or look upward, the pulling sensation in my eye is so severe that it hurts more.. I also got checked in case it was an eye disease, but thankfully they said there was nothing abnormal. Even so, they said pain when touching the surgical area could be inflammation, so I should try taking antibiotics, and I’m on the second day now. After taking the medicine, the pain has lessened a bit, but it’s not completely gone
From the day the stitches were removed, the eye that hurts now had a foreign-body sensation, but it wasn’t a stabbing pain. They said it can happen early on and would get better with time, so I waited. But since it hurts, should I still wait until the commonly mentioned 6 months.. or should I release the fixation through a partial incision even after only 1 or 2 months..
