10-Month Review of Natural Adhesion Double Eyelid Surgery, Epicanthoplasty, and Lower Canthoplasty

Hehe, I originally had double eyelids, but my eyes were a bit small, and I had quite a bit of flesh on my upper eyelids, so the line looked buried. I wanted my eyes to look less stuffy and more open and refreshing, so I had surgery at a clinic, and it’s already been 10 months.

As the title says, I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty. Actually, before the surgery, I had already had epicanthoplasty once, but the doctor said there was still room to open it more, and honestly told me that my eyes didn’t have room for lateral canthoplasty, so it would be better not to do it. So I only went ahead with epicanthoplasty and lower canthoplasty! And as expected, because I had a lot of flesh on my upper eyelids, the doctor said fat removal was needed for the pretty line I wanted to come out the way I wanted, so I decided to remove fat and have double eyelid surgery haha

After surgery, maybe because I had fat removal done together? There was some swelling, but even with the swelling, the line was clearly visible, so I had high expectations haha. It was exactly the line I wanted, so I wanted to see it settle naturally on my eyes after the swelling went down. After a week, the major swelling went down and I could see it clearly, and it turned out like the line I had imagined before surgery, so I was satisfied!

Also, the canthoplasty wasn’t opened excessively and was done really cleanly, so there was no discomfort and no conjunctival edema! Sometimes in reviews, I’ve seen many people whose small blood vessels burst after canthoplasty, but I really had no bruising and it was clean itself lol

Now it’s already been 10 months since surgery, and my double eyelid line is still holding beautifully. My eyes look open and refreshing without any of that stuffy feeling from before, and I’m satisfied because I feel like just my eye shape has changed my overall vibe and image a little!

This review is a surgery review pursuing a natural-yet-defined look.
