Before <I had a hard time finding this because I didn’t take many photos before double eyelid surgery.. > After <This is right after the surgery on the same day> After <I even went to work the next day! > After <This was one month later, so I tried putting on a little makeup > After <This is the most recent one, 3 months later. Even with eye makeup, it doesn’t look obvious, so I hadn’t really been doing it, but these days I’m getting into it lol> As someone with monolids, double eyelid surgery was something I had worried about for a long time... The reason I decided to do it was honestly not a big deal; I realized everyone except me had done it, so I thought, let’s live the rest of my life with double eyelids! From the beginning, I wasn’t considering an incision method, and since my eyes aren’t on the short side, I didn’t want epicanthoplasty. If you have monolids, you’ve probably heard at least once, “Your eyes are charming”... It’s all a lie haha. In the end, being pretty is what matters.. I originally didn’t want to go to a large hospital, and I searched online really hard to find someone who works honestly under their own name. While searching, I found this place, and people said they were all satisfied after revision surgery, and when I looked at the review photos, it seemed to have exactly the natural yet glamorous feeling I wanted, so I went for a consultation right away!! The director examined me in person + said I didn’t need epicanthoplasty + recommended non-incisional buried sutures. With all of that, I said I’d schedule the surgery date, and they said one time slot happened to be open that afternoon, so I ate and had the surgery. My family asked if I was crazy, but the result was that everyone, including me, was extremely satisfied and kept saying I did well lol My family had been totally against it, but even my very T-type mom said it looked pretty. I barely had any bruising on the day itself, so even the staff were all surprised. I went to work right the next day, and since there was a little bruising and swelling, I wore glasses, but afterward, people I hadn’t seen in a while didn’t even recognize me unless I told them it was me. After one month, I put on a little makeup, and at work there were so many people asking me to send them the clinic name through KakaoTalk for real.. Before I did mine, one person had already had it done, but no one asked that person. I personally didn’t like in-out lines because they felt a bit too much, but I was surprised that it was possible to get something like a semi-outline even without epicanthoplasty.. As expected, the surgeon’s skill is something else;; I had never envied double eyelids or thought they looked especially pretty, but people definitely look cleaner with them, and I really think I did a great job getting it done. Even though it’s in Gangnam, I’m really satisfied with the price too.
