About 10 years ago, I had epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty together, and had surgery with the buried-suture method. It was also too natural-lookingㅠ and I don’t know if it’s because it was buried-suture, but the line seemed to be getting swallowed up more and more, so I had revision surgery. Since it was a revision surgery, the cost was a burden, so I mainly looked for places running events or with more reasonable prices, went around for in-person consultations, and had it done at a clinic. After trying it once, I ended up wanting something more glamorous rather than natural, but I also didn’t want a line that screamed “I had double-eyelid surgery.” I wanted something moderately suited to my face but still glamorous, that kind of feeling lol. When I told the director I wanted that kind of look, they said that if the line was set too thick on my face it wouldn’t suit me, and they pinched out each line one by one so I could look, then we chose a line that looked good and decided to do it together with upper epicanthoplasty. That’s how the design was finalized, and since I didn’t have much eye-opening strength, I kept opening my eyes using my forehead, so my forehead wrinkles also bothered me, and I got ptosis correction too. It’s been 10 months, and they said that for about a year, small swelling would keep going down and down,
and the eyes would keep changing. That was right, and they look quite different from how they did at 6 months. Now there doesn’t seem to be any more swelling left to go down, and it seems settled. I like that the in-out double-eyelid line is well set without being too excessive. Since it was revision surgery, I had it done by incision, so I worried a lot that there would be major scarring, but it was needless worry!
