Before/before/after/after Hello. I had inner double eyelids that looked like monolids, and I lived with them without any major dissatisfaction until I reached my mid-30s. Once I got to my mid-30s, a lot of fine wrinkles appeared on my forehead. It was okay when my face was expressionless, but when I made expressions, I think I used my eyebrows too much; my eyebrows would lift and a lot of wrinkles would form. I heard somewhere that if you get double-eyelid surgery, eye-area wrinkles form less, so I decided to get double-eyelid surgery.
I went to consultations at about 3 places, and I decided on the director who examined me the most delicately and thoroughly. That director was Director Lee Han-byeol. I could feel that he looked at my eyes and forehead from several angles and criteria. He told me that because my eyes have a lot of flesh, if I had incisional surgery, they could come out looking like sausage eyes, and that in my case, posterior canthoplasty would not have a big effect. I felt that he did not overtreat, and I liked that he explained in detail the reasons for the surgeries he recommended and those he did not recommend.
He set the in-out line nicely. It has only been about 1 month and 1 week, so I think a lot more time needs to pass for it to settle properly, but when I draw eyeliner, I can feel that my eye shape has become clearer while still looking very natural, so I like it. Depending on the condition of my eyes, it sometimes seems to have a semi-out feel too, and I am quietly satisfied with that as well.
Because I had ptosis correction, forehead wrinkles no longer form when I open my eyes, though if I raise my eyebrows a lot, wrinkles do form then. Still, I am satisfied because my forehead wrinkles are no longer deep. Because I had upper epicanthoplasty, the inner white area of my eyes widened a bit, so my eyes became a little bigger, but since I was trying to naturally enlarge small eyes, they did not become dramatically larger. If lower canthoplasty and posterior canthoplasty would have been effective for my eyes, I would have had those surgeries too, but I am satisfied with the surgery I had according to the doctor's recommendation.
The scars from the upper epicanthoplasty still tend to get quite red when removing makeup or washing my face, but I was told they would improve over time, so I am waiting, and I am diligently applying scar ointment and trying hard to block UV rays haha
I used to search a lot on YouTube for information related to double-eyelid surgery, and somehow it has already been 1 month and 1 week since I had double-eyelid surgery hah
If everyone gets surgery, I hope you all end up with successful and pretty eyes^^
