I had my first double eyelid surgery a whopping 13 years ago;
I had it done with the non-incisional buried-suture method back then and was fine for 13 years, but especially over the past 1 or 2 years, I’ve felt that one side of my double eyelid has been loosening a lot, so I’m looking into revision surgery again.
Looking at reviews, it seems that even incisional surgery doesn’t mean it won’t loosen So rather than thinking it came undone specifically because I had the buried-suture method, I’m guessing it may be because I’ve gotten older and skin aging has progressed.
I hope this can be even a little helpful for those debating between the buried-suture method and incision!
