I kept thinking that I wanted a nose that was slim but still suited my face..
After worrying about all kinds of things, I ended up getting rhinoplasty with 4 mm silicone and autologous costal cartilage. They said my nasal septum was on the sufficient side, so it could be used enough, but... I told them I wanted something sturdy, so I asked for autologous costal cartilage!
I had alar reduction, nasolabial angle correction, and columella lowering, and I was told they did osteotomy and shaved down the hump slightly! For the functional nose surgery, I only did two things: deviated septum correction and inferior turbinate treatment. (The reason my nose was slightly crooked was this..) It’s fascinating that breathing is gradually becoming easier Oh, additionally, they said my hump wasn’t severe, but because the skin on my nasal bridge is thin, it looked more noticeable Anyway, my biggest stress was that my nose was low and my nostrils/nasal wings looked wide and spread out, so having that resolved was my biggest wish. I’m satisfied with my nose line now..!
At first I thought about getting nose thread lifting, but they said if I had even a little thought of surgery, surgery would be better than lifting. I worried a lot, but in the end I got rhinoplasty.. It’s been a little over two months~ I went in and out of several communities and had consultations at three hospitals whose reviews I liked and that I kept seeing a lot. The staff, consultant, and director all treated me kindly.. lol If I got greedy and asked for it to be done like this, they honestly told me things like, “You won’t get that kind of effect,” “It may not suit you,” and so on! Yep
So 1. They looked at how surgery should be done so it could harmonize with my face 2. A place where the frontal effect looked good when I saw before-and-after photos 3. Whether the director had extensive experience with rhinoplasty These became my criteria, and I decided on the hospital
Actually.. after surgery I was out of it, and as soon as I got home I fell asleep, so I don’t remember well lol From the next day until before removing the cotton, it was a bit hard.. Not so much because of pain, but because my nostrils were blocked with cotton..! So everyone scheduled for rhinoplasty.. I think it would be good to prepare a humidifier in advance. Since you breathe through your mouth, your mouth dries out easily When washing my face, I did it roughly, and when it felt uncomfortable, I wiped my face with cleansing wipes.. I was scared of water getting into my nose
What I felt after removing the cotton and splint, as I recovered quickly, was that breathing became much easier..!! I can’t even compare it to how I used to breathe lol It really felt like my nose was wide open.. It varies by person, so just use this as reference lol
And the hospital gave me a self-care kit with cotton swabs and gauze so I could manage it at home~! After removing the splint, I got sebum care (the sebum was no joke;; seriously severe) I also got swelling injections and laser treatment, and I thought it would hurt, but I just lay there and received it lol.. silly me
Anyway, I think the residual swelling is still going down, but I hope the height stays from here Not getting nose thread lifting and getting rhinoplasty from the beginning.. I really think it was a good choice!
