Before-before after-after 2-month review of SMAS volume lifting (fat was suctioned from the chin area and grafted under the eyes) + deep cheek fat removal + botox for peau d’orange chin My jawline had sagged a lot and I also had cheek hollowing, so while I was getting consultations at several clinics, Dr. Han at 345 identified and explained the exact issues with my face, so I decided to get SMAS volume lifting at 345. First, I felt reassured because the incision scars, which I was most worried about, are inside the scalp, and since many reviews were good, I had the surgery with high expectations. For the first 2 weeks, the jowls actually looked more prominent, so I felt anxious, but as time passed and the swelling went down, the lines gradually became more defined. Around the one-month mark, it seemed like all the major swelling had gone down, and now at two months, there is still a little minor swelling near the cheekbones, but almost all the swelling is gone. The jawline that had felt doubled has definitely been cleaned up, and I was told from the beginning that the nasolabial fold area would not improve a lot, and they told me that in advance, so I’m okay with it. The peau d’orange chin barely appears now, and overall, many of my concerns about the lower face have been resolved. The area under the eyes where fat was grafted also improved after the swelling went down, and now that it has been about two months, I’m satisfied.
