I had surgery at ㅁㅇㄷㅇ around 5 o’clock on election day and am recovering haha First, I’m so grateful to the anesthesiologist and the duty nurse who took care of me. Thanks to them, while lying on the operating table, my extreme anxiety was calmed. I’ve had several plastic surgeries, but this is the first time an anesthesiologist has stayed in my memory. I want to express my thanks even like this.
Also, I wrote this voluntarily because there weren’t any genuine reviews about the clinic, and I’ll delete it if it becomes a problem. I had 2 brief consultations here.
I don’t have a protruding lower jaw, but I had slight asymmetry and a long chin. I don’t really have front cheekbones, and I do have some side cheekbones, but not to the point of being a complex, so I wasn’t thinking of surgery for that.
When I was in my 20s, I knew my chin was long, but because I was young, it wasn’t a complex severe enough to have surgery. Even when I went for nose surgery 5 years ago, the director did say my chin was on the long and wide side, but even then it didn’t hurt my feelings or bother me, so I just lived with it.
As the first digit of my age changed and I lost weight, my face started to look longer because of decreased facial elasticity and hollowing under the cheekbones, and I began to look a bit older and gaunt. I felt there was a limit to what dermatology could do. So I went for consultations at ㅇㅂ and ㅁㅇㄷㅇ. Both directors probably have a lot of experience and are excellent in facial contouring, but because I have a lot of anxiety before surgery, I think I needed trust in a director who would give me certainty and say they were confident with a chin like mine.
Regarding my chin, they said the length from the end of the corner of my mouth to my chin was quite long, so it looks okay from above, but when viewed from an angle that comes down just a little, the chin looks bulky. The original purpose of the consultation was that since the director is known to be very honest, if they said I didn’t need surgery, I was going to just live like this, so I went with a light heart. But no one, including dental clinics, told me not to have surgery lol
I also asked whether they would have their own daughter do it, and they said that on the condition that the director personally performed the surgery, if it were a chin like mine, they would definitely have it done. They said my face had more to gain than lose, and regarding sagging, they explained a method of doing liposuction together to make the skin adhere closely to the bone. I think I liked the director’s philosophy and passion for their profession. Those things all come from pride and self-confidence, and how seriously they usually approach their work; these are things that can’t come out if someone doesn’t usually think about them, so I had no worries at all about the director. It was just a major surgery, so I was scared and afraid.
There were about 2 weeks between booking and surgery, and during this period I was in extreme fear, depression, and half out of my mind. Even while working, I kept going in and out of plastic surgery forums... As the date approached, I felt unsettled and anxious, and like my mind was getting strange.
When I actually arrived at the clinic, the waiting time was a bit long, so I was a little sleepy. Also, I had been so nervous and emotionally drained lol On the day itself, I was exhausted lol I came at 2:30, prepared, went into surgery at 5, and when I came out it was around 8:30. The pain and grogginess got a bit better around 11 p.m. haha At first I couldn’t even look at my phone and wasn’t allowed to sleep, so I recovered by taking deep breaths with my eyes closed and doing nothing. My face felt numb and my throat hurt badly. Everyone said they looked for water, but I was too lazy to get up, so I kept not drinking and then had a little at dawn haha I had no nausea and was so fine that my mom was supposed to come pick me up the next day, but when she saw how fine I looked, she told me to take a taxi by myself lol It’s still day 2, so I’m a bit uncomfortable and in pain (it’s tolerable pain), and I’ll write another review while watching the progress,, Once again, I realize that there is no such thing as pain-free, and beauty comes at a price,,
