Recently I kept hearing that my eyes looked tired, so while getting a consultation for double eyelids, I also went to consult about ptosis correction, which had been a complex of mine. My eye shape was seriously uneven, so it was a surgery I really wanted, but I was scared I would just waste money and time and kept only thinking about it. Since my eyes are difficult, they couldn’t become perfectly the same, but after hearing the director say that if I had surgery, they would improve a lot compared to now, I made up my mind and even set a surgery date. On the day of surgery, I came out after it ended safely, but my eyes were swollen and because of the sleep anesthesia I couldn’t open my eyes properly. I also couldn’t focus and was very dizzy, but thankfully I had a guardian with me, so I was able to get home safely. After resting well, from the next day (day 1), my eyes were swollen and my face also started swelling, but there was much less pain than I expected, so it was okay. It was just that because of the stitches, my eyes were itchy and wouldn’t close, so daily life was a little uncomfortable, but I endured it thinking about getting the stitches removed in a few days Because of the sticky fluid around my eyes, in the morning my eyelashes and eyes stuck together and didn’t come apart easily, so I had a bit of a hard time. I do think it would have been better if I had been given more guidance about these things, but although it will be clearer after a month, for now, as I was told during the consultation, they are not perfectly similar, but my eye shape has improved a lot, so I’m satisfied. Of course, I wish they had become more similar, but that’s probably my own greed
For hospitals, I went around for consultations mainly at hospitals that focus on revision surgery, and from experience, I think the most important thing is whether the surgery proceeds in the direction I want. The doctors’ skills are important too, but in the end, it has to be my satisfaction~ I hope others also look into consultations at several places and find a good hospital~
