Hello. I brought my 1-month review.
The photos are in the order of before / day 1 / 1 month.
My bulbous nose was so severe that nose surgery felt too scary, and I only wanted something around the level of a procedure. While talking with a friend, I was recommended Unimedi Plastic Surgery. As soon as the consultant saw my nose, she gave me a very thorough consultation, and when I met the director, because the consultant had already explained everything so thoroughly, it ended with him simply saying we could proceed with this without much else to discuss.
The surgery I had consisted of 5 things in total. 1. Intranasal minimal-incision alar base reduction 2. Improvement of alar drooping, 3. Improvement of alar curvature, 4. Alar thickness reduction 5. Hiko nose thread lift (I thought about this a lot on the day itself before doing it.)
Honestly, the price was similar to or even more expensive than basic rhinoplasty, but I was genuinely scared of putting something into the nasal bridge, and I also couldn’t take a full week off, so it was hard to challenge myself to do that. I was tempted by the idea that I could change even a little through a surgery that felt like a procedure, so I booked a date as soon as I had the consultation and went ahead. I had surgery on Friday afternoon, rested over the weekend, and had no problem going straight back to work from Monday. I only took my mask off when eating and ate with my coworkers, but even when they saw me, no one really said anything! (The atmosphere at work isn’t really one where people look at each other’s faces and talk while eating, so we really just eat.) Also, it may have been even more so because swelling doesn’t show much on me and I had no bruising at all! My very close friends noticed the subtle change! I’m satisfied! It still hurts if I touch my nose and I can’t blow my nose, but they said that will get better with time too, so for now I plan to watch it for 6 months.
