Eye Surgery Reviews

Revision double-eyelid surgery (third time ^^)

Lol... Can you believe the preoperative photos are of eyes that had already undergone double-eyelid surgery twice? I first had non-incisional surgery, but after a few years the line loosened, so I had a partial-incision revision. I thought partial incision wouldn’t loosen, but after a few years the line came undone again, perhaps because my eyelid-opening strength is poor... haha. This time I vowed it would truly be the final surgery, researched everywhere, and had my third surgery with Dr. Park Beom at View La Belle. Since many people say revisions usually require incision surgery, I thought I couldn’t avoid it this time... lol. I was very worried about swelling and bruising, but because the doctor performs many revisions, he said my eyes were suitable for revision with natural adhesion, and I was like, ‘What??’ haha. I also feel that my eyelid-opening strength isn’t good, so I decided to add ptosis correction!! The doctor said the reason one side kept loosening was that the strength needed to open each eye was different from the start. He carefully watched me open and close my eyes repeatedly and reassured me that if the eyelid strength differs between sides, the tightening force can simply be adjusted differently for each side. It was a simple procedure. Perhaps because it was natural adhesion, I have very little swelling even though this was my third surgery, and the line symmetry is so firm and well matched that I’m extremely happy I feel a little bittersweet wondering how I ended up having three surgeries... but I’m glad I finally met a good doctor for my eyes, lol.
