At this point, there is no disruption to daily life at all, and there is no swelling, bruising, or unnatural look on my face. In my case, I bruise very easily, and after surgery, the bruising covered my entire neck, so even though it was summer, I couldn’t go around without a scarf. Because of the location,, it was exactly the kind of thing people could misunderstand..? haha Anyway, thankfully, after a month that bruising completely disappeared. If you bruise easily like me and need to account for the time it takes for bruises to fade, my personal tip is that it might be better to have the procedure in winter, when you can wear turtlenecks? lol
Right now I’m not wearing the compression band anymore, and I’m still being careful about tilting my neck upward. The sensation under my chin is still quite dull, and they say the full effect shows around the 3-month mark, so I’m waiting comfortably and hoping it settles even prettier by then ^^
