Before<My pre-surgery nose, but why does it feel like my forehead stands out more.. lol>After<I like that the hump was removed after surgery, but I seriously love the nasal tip too>After<This is what it looks like from the front after surgery>For reference, everyone, I did not use silicone!!★★ As you can tell from the pre-surgery photos, I already had some nasal bridge height, and more than that, the problem was that my nasal tip drooped and I had a hump, so I got rhinoplasty to correct that.
So when I went around for consultations at several places too, -no implant -raise the nasal tip (I don’t want it pointy, that distinctive witch nose) -want a straight-with-slight-curve style I had consultations while presenting these conditions, and I went in person to five places, and I’m not exaggerating, 3 of them told me to put in silicone. Even though I said I wanted surgery without silicone.......
Fortunately or unfortunately lol.. With my personality, if something isn’t right, I think it isn’t right, so I filtered out all the places that just blindly recommended silicone. I think that for cosmetic surgery to satisfy me, it has to match the conditions I’m pursuing to some extent anyway. If the nasal material is already wrong from the start, then if it fails later, it’s obvious I’d regret it, thinking, “I shouldn’t have put in silicone,” so that was an even bigger reason I filtered them out.
The reason I had surgery here is that they said they would operate without silicone, just as I wanted, and while correcting the hump, they would make the nasal tip into a rounded shape, because the director gave me a consultation with confidence. In case everyone is curious, I’ll say the nasal materials in advance: ear cartilage was used, and dermis was also used. I wanted to minimize inflammatory reactions as much as possible, so I had surgery with the materials I wanted. Honestly, I didn’t know much about dermis as a material, but I learned because the director explained it to me lol
After surgery, the hardest period is definitely, no matter what, the time when you have the splint on. I’m really the type who doesn’t care about other people, so I even went on walks with the splint on, but if you care a lot about what others think, you probably wouldn’t be able to go out... But because it was humid and I had to breathe only through my throat, it felt suffocating, so I couldn’t walk much. Still, even walking a little made me feel like I was making an effort to reduce swelling, so I was filled with pride in myself lol
Honestly, I was kind of a difficult(?) patient at the clinic. Every time I went, I asked so many questions that I was practically bothering the director, but each time, the director explained everything well, so I thought that was fortunate. The hump correction turned out well, and the nasal tip was raised as much as I wanted, but it’s still only been one month... Will the shape change more as more time passes? How was it for everyone?
Oh, but if I post a review here, does this community give anything? It would be nice if they at least raised my rank. Since I came in, I want to read through the treatment information carefully *__*
