I did put down a deposit, but since this would be a second revision surgery, I felt I should be careful, so I went to a few more consultations.
ㅇㅇㅋㅌ The director spoke very frankly about whether my areas of dissatisfaction could be improved. They said I should think of it as reducing the scar rather than removing it, and that it would be difficult to lower the crease a lot, but I should expect it to be slightly lower than now, with the scar reduced a little, and since the sausage-like swelling would look a bit better as the crease gets lower, that is the extent of improvement I should expect.
They said my current crease is not particularly high, so they did not really recommend surgery. So I came away without even seeing before-and-after photos lol
As for the price, there is a small discount if I leave one review with my eyes shown. They said I could just leave the review exactly as I felt.
ㅍㅇㅌ The director’s consultation was so detailed it felt like listening to an Introduction to Double Eyelid Surgery lecture. They explained the principles in detail, and said that to improve the sausage-like swelling, the crease has to be lowered, and then the visible area would be reduced, making the eyes look more comfortable.
They said it would be difficult to completely eliminate the sausage-like swelling, make it flat, or make the scar disappear. They said they were thinking of lowering the crease by about 20%, and showed me one before-and-after photo.
There were no separate discounts, and the price was somewhat on the higher side. They also said that some degree of asymmetry, insufficient scar improvement, or remaining sausage-like swelling could be possible side effects, so personally I wondered whether aftercare/revision AS might be a bit difficult later.
Both places honestly told me that perfect improvement would be difficult, so I’m starting to question the surgery itself
