Before <Pre-op 1> Before <Pre-op 2> Before <Pre-op 3> After <Post-op 1> After <Post-op 2> After <Post-op 3> Reason for surgery = (square jaw, wide face, retruded chin) Originally, when I was young, I didn't really know whether there were drawbacks to my face shape. But when I was in elementary school, after hearing a friend say I had a square jaw, a big face, and looked strange, I was stressed about my face shape every day. I covered it with my hair all the time, and on rainy days I carried a flat iron and spray because I was afraid the hair covering it would come undone. I really hated places where my hair would get wet, like the sea, swimming pools, or bathhouses, and tried never to go if possible. Even when eating, I was so conscious of it that I couldn't eat comfortably. On windy days I covered it with a mask, and I hated myself for that, felt embarrassed, and had a hard time. After doing this for exactly 8 years, I became so exhausted that I decided to have 3-part facial contouring surgery (cheekbones, square jaw, chin) at a clinic. Day of surgery = I was so happy I could barely sleep before coming haha. I didn't feel nervous or anything until the surgery, and because I felt like I would finally be able to go around comfortably, I stayed calm until anesthesia haha Day 1 = On the first day, I didn't really know if it hurt, and the hardest and most uncomfortable part was not being able to sleep after coming out of surgery.. Days 2-6 = It kept swelling more and more, and from day 4 to day 6 my face really hurt, and it was so extremely swollen that I felt like it would burst and I would die sob After that, the swelling gradually went down, so I was really happy haha Meals = Until day 7, I only had (New Care, pumpkin juice, water). After that, I gradually ate soft foods little by little and increased the types of food haha Week 1 = I went to get the cheekbone stitches removed, and I was nervous because I thought it would hurt, but it barely hurt compared to what I expected, so I was really relieved My face felt heavy and moderately swollen. There was no pain or anything, and when I sleep, I sleep with my head elevated. I plan to do that until the 1-month mark haha Week 2 = There is still swelling. In the morning, it seems a bit more swollen than in the photo, and at night the swelling seems to go down a little like in the photo haha Week 3 = Now the swelling has gone down a lot, enough for me to go outside and live normally haha. But there still seems to be swelling around the square jaw, jaw, and double chin area, and lump-like areas under my chin feel hard to the touch (both sides and the middle, 3 lumps). For food, except for hard and tough/chewy foods, I can eat almost anything if I cut it small with scissors, kya haha Week 4 = There are photos. It seems the same as week 3 Still, as more time passes, it should be gone by month 2, right ^~^ As above, I can still feel the lumps. For food too, except for the excluded foods, I eat almost everything if I cut it finely haha Review = At first after surgery, it was so hard and painful, I couldn't sleep well, and my face looked much uglier than before surgery, got huge, and looked bizarre, so for a moment I wondered if I had made a mistake. But as time passed, now I feel like I look the same as before surgery, with only the double chin area more noticeable. My mom and younger sibling say my face has gotten a bit smaller than before haha. The jaw was noticeable right away hahaha. My cheekbones were not a prominent part of my face shape even before, so I'm not sure, but I think they look cleaner. I think I need to watch the square jaw a bit longer And I tried singing too, and I can sing well. Very high notes are still hard I can open my mouth better than at first and so on. But not completely yet. I hope the swelling goes down quickly <3
