Before/after/after It’s been a while, so I’ll write one post and then really disappear now haha If I keep coming into this community, I keep wanting to get this done and that done too~~ Maybe not looking is actually the medicine? haha Thanks to everyone here, my self-esteem went up a lot and my confidence is overflowing~~ First of all, my double eyelid surgery was incisional, and I made a collage from around week 2 to month 6. So you can compare!!! I took them with SNOW, so please keep the editing in mind when you look. First, I’ll explain the downtime, meaning the period when daily life is not really possible, and the swelling based on my standards!
-Downtime For me, 10 days. First, the stitches were in until day 7, and until then the swelling went down slowly and the bruising was at its maximum. After getting the stitches removed, by about day 10 the bruises turned yellow and the swelling had gone down enough that it wasn’t unpleasant to look at! If your job requires meeting people face-to-face, I think taking about 10 days off for an incisional procedure is right
For makeup, powders? powder-type products that could get into the eyes were allowed only after one month, and I applied compact foundation except around the eyes!!
-Swelling Major swelling: 1 month to 3 months. This probably varies by person, but to me the major swelling lasted about 3 months? After that, minor swelling can last 1 year. Honestly, I still feel like it’s continuing to go down!!! It’s natural for swelling to be severe in the beginning, so don’t think it’s completely botched. Try reducing the swelling and wait! I also almost became mentally distressed at first...
And I think swelling feels different from a sausage-like look! Based on my standards..? With swelling, it just feels like, “Oh, it’s really swollen?” but with a sausage-like look, you can see a feeling of “this is botched.” So I became sure that this was swelling.
