First of all, my nose is a bulbous nose and an upturned nose, and my brow bones protrude a lot, so I wanted to raise my nasal bridge. So I went around to 4 places for consultations.
ㅂ2 - Director ㄱㅁㅊ Among the 4 places, I think they do it the most naturally. They were the only one who said not to use silicone and to fill the glabella only with ear cartilage. And they said to correct the upturned nose with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and also do alar reduction.
4.46 million won (nose 3.36 million + alar reduction 1.10 million) ㅇㅈ - Director ㅊㄷㅅ It was the same up to using septal cartilage for the nasal tip and alae, and they said to put 4.5 mm silicone in the nasal bridge. I have a slight hump, and they said to shave it down. But they said if silicone is inserted, because of my brow bones, the transition area could look a bit unnatural, but they said that could be fixed with filler. To me, throughout the consultation, I felt like they were trying to sell me on it, so I felt reluctant.
With an event discount and a review discount, I got a lot taken off, 3.4 million won
ㅂㅁ - Director ㅅㅈㅁ It was the same up to the nasal tip and alae, and 4.5 mm silicone for the nasal bridge. They did not mention the hump. Among the places I consulted with, they explained things in the most detail, and it felt like they would make a nose that fit me exactly. There was no salesy feeling at all, and they looked at my nose even more carefully than I did, so I trusted them.
3.1 million won
ㅇㅇㅈ - Director ㅇㅇㅈ Nasal tip (septal cartilage, ear cartilage, donated costal cartilage), bulbous nose correction, and they said to put 5 mm silicone in the nasal bridge. They did not mention the alae, so I asked, “Would it be okay not to do the alae, by any chance??” and the feeling was like, well,, do whatever you want. Since I cannot imagine what I will look like after surgery, I like it when the director leads the discussion. So I ended up dissatisfied, and I think the director has a nose shape they pursue. It seems like they make it to match that shape, but if everyone here has a clear nose shape they want, I think it would be okay. I did not have a clear thought like, “I have to get this nose,” so I do not think it matched me.
For upturned nose + bulbous nose + nasal bridge + alar reduction, it was 5.5 million won, but they adjusted it to 4.4 million won. For now, I have scheduled surgery at ㅂㅁ on 10/1.
For everyone in Daegu going around for consultations, I recommend going to ㅂㅁ first. They give you a lot of information, so using that as a base when going to other hospitals for consultations would probably help a lot.
