Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Miinmaking (Cheongmi) square jaw + cheekbones, 1 week post-op

I can finally manage, so I'm posting a review! lol It's been one week, and I had my jaw and cheekbones done together! My jaw wasn't a severe square jaw, and I didn't dislike the square-jaw feel? so I was debating it, but they recommended doing them together if I wanted to reduce the blank space. I heard this hospital gives a natural-looking result, so I thought doing them together would still have more of an effect, and went ahead with both!

I've hated my face shape since I was young, but I was scared so I lived getting facial meridian massages. Then I started wanting to just get surgery with the money I was spending on massages, and Cheongmi looked the safest to me, so I didn't go anywhere else and just did it here right away!

Since I was doing it anyway, I really debated between a clearly noticeable effect (doll line) vs. safely and naturally ㅜㅜ But I don't think a doll line is necessarily pretty, and I saw posts about cheeks sagging and then having to keep getting lifting later. With my personality, I don't think I'd be diligent enough to go lol, so I just chose safety.

Everyone at the hospital was so kind, and since it doesn't feel factory-style? it wasn't chaotic, there wasn't a long wait, and they took good care of each person, so I really liked that.

I had seen a lot of people say the bandage feels stuffy after surgery.. but it wasn't just stuffy, I seriously almost died ㅜlol I already swell easily, to the point my face looks different morning and night, so I think it was hard because I swelled a lot. Honestly, forget surgery or anything, I just wanted to rip the bandage off ㅜ After taking the bandage off, it was much more bearable, and it got better day by day. After removing the stitches and getting swelling care, the swelling really went down a lot. For now, the swelling in my jaw is still bad, like I'm holding candy in my mouth ㅜ I think it depends on your constitution, and since I normally swell easily, going back to work after just a few days would've been difficult for me lol

Even though I'm still very swollen, I can already see the cheekbones went in ㅜㅜ My face itself looks smaller too, but the jaw swelling is bad, so I want it to go down quickly and see how it looks ㅜㅜㅠㅜ I'm really looking forward to it!! Even with swelling, the cheekbones look like they went in a lot ㅜㅜ happy

Everyone is different, but for me it was really hard before removing the bandage, and I didn't have painkillers or anyone to buy them for me, so it was difficult! Prepare painkillers in advance just in case, and Coupang has contouring cold/hot packs, which I recommend! The one the hospital gives is like an eye mask, so it felt kind of uncomfortable to me and I just didn't do compresses. But the manager strongly recommended compresses, so I bought one, and it's so comfortable! If you wear the compression band and put it on top, it's really great!

For food, I'm having porridge, thin rice gruel, and soy milk. At first it was hard so I wasn't even hungry, and I still don't really crave regular food, so it's not hard lol Also dieting at the same time lol

I'm thinking of uploading before/after photos, but right now the jaw swelling makes it look like there's no difference, so I'll upload them later! For now, I think I'm glad I had the surgery! I want to see my face once the swelling goes down quickly.

If you have anything you're curious about, please let me know~~
