The surgery was done with autologous costal cartilage, and I had hump correction, nasal tip correction, bulbous nose correction (cartilage tying), and 4.5 mm silicone inserted into the nasal bridge. My nasal bridge wasn’t originally nonexistent, but I wanted a glamorous or elegant nose, so I also had the bridge augmented to match the balance of the nasal tip. I told them that it was okay if it looked somewhat noticeable, and that I absolutely wanted a straight, long, masculine nose. But I did emphasize that it shouldn’t be so obvious that anyone could look and say, “Oh, he had nose surgery.” In particular, I’d seen some people around me whose noses looked strangely operated on from the front, like a pinched nose, so I also told them it absolutely couldn’t be like that.
I went to nearly 10 places for consultations, and the last clinic I consulted at was Louvre. Since my features are already somewhat defined, a friend recommended it saying a glamorous nose would suit me, so I had been keeping an eye on clinics known for glamorous noses. Director Yoon Sung-won is very well known, and he understood my needs well, so I think the consultation felt highly trustworthy. I asked what the problem was with nose photos that I personally thought weren’t pretty, and I remember he explained in great detail while drawing and comparing them with my nose. The price is definitely on the expensive side. Even considering that it was autologous costal cartilage, it was among the top three most expensive clinics I visited? Still, even if I went back to before surgery, I think I’d choose the same place. I think the director definitely creates glamorous noses well. I’d say it’s a clinic with high satisfaction for the money.
