I used to think fat should always be treated with liposuction, but after going to consultations and hearing what they said, they told me that skin that has already sagged would not create a smooth line even with liposuction, so a lift would probably be closer to the effect I wanted.
In a way, it means almost all the excess skin is excised, so the principle itself is different from liposuction, and I was honestly worried inside that the surgery might be much bigger, but the more I watch my progress, the more I feel like I made the right choice choosing a lift, and I think I’m seeing solid results.
At first, I was surprised by how wide the scar area was, and I was also unnecessarily scared and worried because the wound had been sutured with puckering, but as I’ve been applying scar ointment diligently, I can see it gradually fading, so I feel reassured about that too.
They say the scar will settle down more as time passes, so I’m going to be patient and wait a bit longer.
Before, no matter what clothes I wore, my lower abdomen would bulge out, and even if I bent over just a little, the flesh would hang down, so I was really self-conscious, and it was extremely stressful, but I’m definitely happy because I can see that the sagging abdomen and extra fat have been cleaned up.
Already, the way clothes fit and my line have changed, so I’m satisfied too.. Once I enter the stable recovery phase, the line should become even smoother than now, right?
