I got a lot of help from everyone here, so I’ll write down the consultations I went to. I went to three places, but I only wrote about the two I was ultimately deciding between.
Sinnonhyeon ㅇㅁㄹ Medial epicanthoplasty, upper epicanthoplasty, buried double eyelid, line set as in-out Waited about 30 minutes after arriving at the clinic Even that felt a bit late to me.. But when I looked it up, there were people who waited even longer than me.. The director seemed to like natural-looking results. When he was testing the line, for semi-out and out lines, he firmly said they didn’t suit me lol awkward.. And it is true that the space between my eyes and eyebrows is on the narrow side, but he said the proportions weren’t bad enough to consider a forehead lift, so double eyelid surgery would be enough. But the director clearly said it was an in-out line, yet to me it looked kind of low.. like an in-line, so I asked if the outer-end line could be raised more, and said I wanted it to look more glamorous, and again he said it didn’t suit me.. lol I liked that he was clear about the surgical aspects. But the consultant kept asking whether I had gone to other consultations yet (this was my first place..) and kept saying, since it was my first, didn’t I want to make a reservation, so it felt a little pressuring Compared with how long I waited, the consultation felt a bit short, but I liked that they pinpointed exactly how the surgery should be done.
Apgujeong ㅇㄹ Medial epicanthoplasty, incisional double eyelid, line set as in-out Waited about 10 minutes after arriving at the clinic There were a lot of people here too, but thankfully I didn’t wait long.. Everyone knows your butt hurts when you wait a long time, right? That happened to me after the previous clinic The director looked at my eyes and said that because I have fat in my eyelids, he would set the line higher overall. So I asked if it would be okay since the space between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, and he said that when I look in the mirror and when he looks at the proportions from forehead-nose-chin, it wasn’t severe enough to count as a special concern. And he recommended an incisional method for the surgery. Since another place had recommended buried sutures once, I asked if non-incisional wouldn’t work, but he said that although buried sutures may look good right now (since people commonly think non-incisional is better before surgery..), because this is also a revision surgery for me, incision would be better even thinking a few years ahead! This director also set the line as in-out, and said he didn’t really recommend a line higher than this.
I finished after going to three consultations, and since they had set the line, I chose after considering things like the clinic’s AS period and post-op care, and even scheduled the surgery date! Most AS periods were 1 year, but I saw some places offer 3 years, which was interesting.. Since I’m doing it anyway, I thought that one seemed better. After surgery, I’ll probably come here often again.. @@ Please, I just hope the surgery goes well and I only write posts saying I’m satisfied, future me..
