One of the double eyelids I got through partial-incision surgery when I had just turned twenty has come undone, so after putting it off for ages, I’m now looking into revision surgery as a way to mark leaving my job. I visited a total of three places today, and since I want surgery as soon as possible, I’m planning to put down a deposit either today or tomorrow. My list is as follows, but since it’s a revision surgery, I want to be careful and I’m willing to visit more places. If you have any hospitals you recommend, please leave a comment, and if you were in my position, please also share your personal opinion on where you think you’d get surgery.
1. Director ㅎㅅㅈ at ㄷㄹㅅ I went here because all the review photos looked pretty, but aside from everything else, the atmosphere was really not great... It was also the only place I went to today where the actual consultation started 40 minutes later than the scheduled consultation time... Things like that are secondary factors though, and what matters is the eye surgery consultation itself! They said the eyelid on the side/outer area is a bit droopy, so they recommended ptosis correction + incision. (But those are all surgeries I was trying to avoid) The price was excluding VAT, and they said they could do it for 2.38 million won if I booked on the consultation day.
2. Director ㄱㅌㅎ at ㅂㅇㅇ It seems like two directors run the clinic, and I got a consultation because I heard Director ㄱㅌㅎ specializes in eyes. I think they worked the hardest to shape the line for me (they tried it this way and that way too lol), and they said partial incision would be more than enough. But they said the side/outer area is caught on the bone? so it wouldn’t be possible to raise the line dramatically, and since the side that came undone is the outer side and it’s also thick, they suggested doing partial incision only on that side. The event price was around 1.1 million won, including VAT. They said aftercare includes unlimited free swelling laser for one month, and they also give pumpkin juice lol. I liked that there was no pressure to book on the same day, and overall, among the clinics I saw today, I think I liked this one the most.
3. Director ㅂㅂ at ㅂㄹㅂ The atmosphere here was also fine. They took photos before the consultation started, then I went in for the consultation, and the director came in pretty quickly too. They said natural adhesion would be sufficient, but similarly, since there is a lot of eyelid fat on the side/outer area, they suggested removing just a little and doing partial incision. The event price was around 1.1 million won including VAT, based on putting down a 100,000 won same-day deposit. Aftercare includes unlimited free swelling laser for 6 months.
For No. 1... I feel like I might regret it later if I go just based on photo reviews, so I’ve kind of lost interest, but if people say it’s okay, I’ll reconsider. Right now I’m debating between No. 2 and No. 3. The one I liked the most was definitely No. 2. But for No. 3, I liked the fat removal part, so I’m torn... Should I go with No. 2 and ask before surgery whether fat removal is also possible?
