Before <before surgery>After <day of surgery>After <1 month after surgery><before surgery> (Reason for surgery) Maybe because of multiple eyelid creases, I heard a lot that I looked tired, and I started being bothered by how I looked in photos,, (Clinic selection process) I originally had no plans at all for double eyelid surgery, and I was satisfied living with monolids, so I didn’t want a big change in my image
My conditions were,,, 1. A clinic that recommends a line that doesn’t stray from my image, and whose surgery reviews also pursue naturalness 2. A clinic that doesn’t recommend excessive canthoplasty or ptosis correction 3. A calm clinic that isn’t chaotic (= a clinic with one director)
I visited four places and decided because it was a one-director clinic, they operate on three people a day, and the surgery is done without sleep anesthesia, under local anesthesia, which made me trust them! Basically, all the surgery reviews showed natural-looking eyes, and the eyes of an acquaintance around me who had surgery at that clinic were also very natural They said I didn’t need ptosis correction, and that both non-incisional and incisional methods were possible, but I wanted to get it done in one go, so I decided to proceed only with incisional in-out line double eyelid surgery
<Day of surgery> Everyone around me who had double eyelid surgery said local anesthesia hurt so much, so I arrived trembling, but the twist was that the anesthetic injection really didn’t hurt lol (just felt a bit uncomfortable?? Of course, there can be individual differences > instead, the antibiotic injection I got in my butt before surgery seemed to hurt for about 2 weeks lol) Throughout the surgery, the director encouraged and praised me, so I could proceed calmly without getting bored, and they kept checking the line while having me open and close my eyes in between, so I trusted them On the day, I just found my changed eyes fascinating and looked in the mirror all day, and I was worried because there was some bleeding on the left line, but after applying ointment as the clinic instructed, it got better quickly The swelling peaked when I woke up the next day, and after that it gradually improved
<Now - 1 month after surgery> I still feel a tingling sensation(?) when the surgical area is touched, but I can feel that the swelling has gone down to some extent and it’s settling! People around me also congratulated me, saying it turned out so natural, so I feel kind of proud hehe Actually, just looking at the line, I worried that the left side (scar or line) might be less neat than the right, but they said it would gradually improve, and I felt relieved when the director said the surgery went well It’s still early, so I need to watch it a bit more, but I’m totally satisfied with my clearer eyes!!!

⚡️ Natural adhesion + ptosis correction recommended It was a large clinic and they used sleep anesthesia From the review photos, it seemed like they did a lot of dramatic eyes (a different direction from what I wanted) They said I had to put down a deposit before leaving, so I impulsively paid a deposit and left, but then canceled (when canceling, they asked which clinic I was getting surgery at)
⚡️ Incision + ptosis correction recommended The only clinic that said natural adhesion wouldn’t work for my eyes and recommended only incision Free swelling injection care, sleep anesthesia used The clinic atmosphere (interior?) was dark and there were many foreigners, so I felt unnecessarily reluctant In the actual consultation with the director, they roughly made a line and I only heard them say it would go well
⚡️ The worst I made a reservation and went for a consultation, but there were too many people and it kept getting delayed The doctor was going here and there and looked chaotic (even though I definitely had a reservation, they said the doctor had gone into surgery so the consultation would probably be delayed) I thought that if I got surgery here, my eyes would also be operated on in a chaotic way, so I left without even having the consultation
