These days, there’s so much talk like breast surgery is painless or not a big deal, but honestly, they cut into a perfectly normal body, open up a breast pocket,, and put an implant in there. How could it possibly feel like nothing? I’m naturally the suspicious type, and until I had the surgery myself, I thought reviews weren’t something I could trust 100%. Even if it was for the very hospital where I was going to have surgery haha,,
I went to several consultations, and I was recommended various implants like Motiva, Mentor, and Sebbin. The feel of Mentor Xtra was much more my preference than Motiva, (for reference, there’s no right answer when choosing implants, so you should touch them yourself and decide) and the hospital didn’t pressure me like, “You must get Motiva ㅡ,ㅡ,” so I was able to comfortably have surgery with the Mentor Xtra I wanted.
I’m a little thinner than an average body type (stats 161/47), and I had even less breast tissue to start with, so I chose the size carefully. The doctor seemed to extremely!! dislike breasts that look obviously round like bowls even if the size gets bigger, so he spent a really long time just checking the design. Even when I went just for the consultation, I listened to explanations for almost an hour, and the doctor and I talked so much our mouths almost went dry haha,, I did talk a lot too.
It’s already been 5 months, so I don’t remember in detail what each day was like, but in the early period after surgery, if someone made a loud noise next to me (like slamming a door, or a big dog barking loudly?), only then I felt a slight throbbing in my chest. But even things like that get okay once you get used to them.. Humans are creatures of adaptation ^^
When I went to the hospital for follow-up checks, I could always meet the doctor, you know? Each time, just like during the consultation, I asked the doctor all kinds of things, and I think it was fortunate that I could ask those things directly to the person who performed my breast surgery. The doctor also taught me how to care for my breasts haha,, we were almost best friends.
The time when I felt the texture really soften was from the 3-month mark. Before that, it felt kind of uncertain, but from then on, it changed overall to a soft, squishy feel. And people say that after breast surgery, it inevitably looks obvious when you lie down. I couldn’t help worrying about that too.. but now that it’s been 5 months, it actually falls slightly downward in a UU shape like real breasts, so it doesn’t look like a bowl shape. I wondered, “Is it just me feeling this?” so I showed my mom too, and she said it really doesn’t look obvious. I guess it’s true for any cosmetic surgery, but at that moment I deeply felt that breast surgery really needs to be done by a highly experienced doctor. It would have been so nice if I’d lucked into no pain lol, but honestly, it’s basically surgery, so I wonder if it can really be possible to feel absolutely nothing.. For me, it throbbed and bothered me, but time is the answer~ that’s what I want to tell everyone haha
