When my left and right eyes were about 0.2/0.4, I really couldn't see well, so I got SMILE LASIK. They said my corneal thickness made both LASIK and LASEK possible, but daily life recovery is faster with LASIK, so I chose LASIK. It's been 7 years now, so my vision has dropped a bit, but not to the point where I need contacts or glasses yet. After surgery, both eyes went up to 1.2, but one eye has dropped to 0.8 Anyway, it's a surgery I really recommend to people around me. If presbyopia comes, I may have to do it again, but I'm maintaining well without side effects
