I had alar reduction surgery with an incision on March 11.
The alar size was reduced correctly, but one side of my nostril doesn't move at all.
So when I smile or sniff my nose, only one nostril opens, and it's so stressful.
When I told the doctor, they said it would come back with time.
But isn't this a surgery that stitches tissue back together through an incision? Does that even make sense?
I also looked up other alar reduction surgery reviews, but I couldn't find anyone saying that one side of their nose wouldn't flare..
I'm stressed because I'm wondering if I should even get alar Botox, and if I do it and get side effects again, whether it'll become irreversible.
You have to look closely to notice it.. sigh
