When I was twenty (in 2010), I first had buried-suture double eyelid surgery at a place in Apgujeong that was said to be famous, and after about two years, it had almost all loosened, so every time I took photos, I would strain my eyes to make a double eyelid and then take the picture. In 2018, I had a few months of free time, so I immediately went around looking into revision surgery. I’m a scaredy-cat, so I couldn’t do an incisional method ㅠㅠㅠ (worried about scarring, worried it would be too obvious) While looking for reviews, I found something called quick double eyelid surgery (quick buried-suture method) (apparently office workers often go during lunch break, get it done in 30 minutes, and there isn’t much swelling?) I got a consultation, and the director seemed to have pride in the procedure, and the price was better than I expected (I’m not totally sure, but I think it was just over 1 million won?)
There was nothing painful about the surgery at all, but it was done under local anesthesia, so I could really feel them pulling on my eyelids, flipping my eyes open and sewing, and it was so uncomfortable ㅠㅠㅠ There was less swelling than with a regular buried-suture method, and after living with slightly sausage-like eyes for about 3 months, it became very natural. Since my buried-suture surgery had failed once before, I was worried it might loosen again (I had decided that if it loosened again, I’d just do the buried-suture method again), but now, almost 4 years later, I really like the line, and there are no signs of it loosening, so I’m very satisfied~ (suddenly ending in polite speechㅎㅎㅎㅎ)
