Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> On Valentine’s Day, while everyone else was going on dates, I had the surgery I wanted Zygoma reduction, square jaw + V-line (chin tip + muscle tying + cortical osteotomy), forehead reduction... writing it out like this makes it feel like I had so much done.. My face was originally on the slim side, but my forehead was long too, so my face looked too elongated, and it was a bit crooked-looking asymmetry, so every time I looked at photos or the mirror, I got so stressed that I decided on surgery I searched around a lot both in person and online for hospitals and had surgery at Lavian, which is said to be famous for facial contouring Whichever hospital I went to, everyone was kind, but compared with the other hospitals where I had consultations, it felt kind without being fake? When I consulted with the director, he explained each point in detail, and even when I asked a lot of things I was curious about, he explained everything kindly The anesthesiology director is always on site, they have dantrolene stocked, and they said they can record CCTV if requested, and the hospital itself has a good safety management system and aftercare, so I felt mentally reassured somehow My satisfaction after surgery was even higher than when I had surgery on my facial features, and most of all I really liked that they corrected the asymmetry! I also like that my face looks smaller because of the forehead reduction It’s now been over 2 weeks, and since I’m originally the type who doesn’t swell much and my face was already quite slim, even if my face is swollen, it doesn’t look very swollen, right?!?? But I still don’t have much sensation in my cheekbones or jaw, and should I say my chin tip feels a little tingly?!?? I hope all the sensation comes back soon Ah! Also, I was worried before surgery, but since I cover my forehead with my side hair, the scar is less noticeable than I thought Now even when I take photos, I don’t look like a praying mantis or crooked, so I’ve been taking lots of photos Because of COVID, I couldn’t meet people and felt stifled, but now it’s spring, so I should go out often and take even more photos
