When my baby teeth started falling out in elementary school, malocclusion became noticeable, so I started jaw correction right away. I did only jaw correction for quite a long time, from 3rd grade of elementary school to 2nd year of middle school.
But the doctor opened their own clinic midway and moved, and I didn't follow them. I thought it was mostly done and ended it on my own. After becoming an adult, my teeth gradually became misaligned, and my temporomandibular joint started getting worse.
So I started orthodontic treatment again, but I was studying abroad and couldn't come to Korea often.
It was good because the clinic only required regular checkups when I came during vacation, and I liked that there were no excessive tests or treatments. Even now, whether it's cavity treatment, gum treatment, or root canal treatment, they only do exactly what is necessary, and they don't proceed further or tell me to, so whenever I need dental treatment, I keep going only to my current clinic!
I didn't have extractions, and I had 1 screw placed! But.. after placing the screw, I got a dimple.. such a win... hehe.. hehe
