Facial Contouring 2-Week Review

As of today, it has been 2 weeks since I had zygoma reduction, so I’ll write a brief review.

First, to talk about why I chose the hospital, I thought the reliable aftercare based on good facilities was a strong point, and I went to quite a few consultations, but among them, I personally liked the consultation with the director.

They seemed to understand my requests relatively more clearly, and pursued a natural look without going overboard?

And to talk about how hard it was after surgery, I don’t think it was that hard because of pain. Right after surgery until about half a day later, it did hurt a little, but after that it was bearable.

But the hardship from discomfort is bigger than the hardship from pain.

Things like not being able to open my mouth wide, having to sleep uncomfortably, and having to wear the compression band all the time.

Since I also can’t eat properly, it made me realize how precious my previous daily life was, I guess.

Still, if I went back, I think I would have the surgery again.

I had the surgery prepared to accept that it might feel like there was no effect until about 2 to 3 months, but from right after surgery, I could feel my facial line becoming cleaner and the width of my cheekbones getting smaller.

I still need to watch it for quite a while longer, but now at week 2, the swelling is also going down faster than I expected, so my satisfaction is gradually increasing.

The sagging or nonunion that I was most worried about doesn’t seem to be a big problem so far..

Anyway, this got long and disorganized.

If you have any questions, I’ll answer as much as I can. Please leave a comment.
