Due to frequent gatherings and drinking that started around the end of November 2021, and stress-eating from the adjustment period at a new job, my body, which had been 98 kg, rapidly gained weight up to 107.8 kg in just 4 months. I had never been on the slim side, but going from chubby to obese really happens in an instant.
Once I gained weight, I started feeling anxious... My clothes didn't fit, my mood swings got worse, my skin got worse, and sometimes my arms even went numb. When this situation came, I got stressed, and since I relieve stress by eating, it became a repeating vicious cycle for me.
At that time, one thought came to mind: 'I need some kind of turning point.' I had tried many things before, including PT, cycling, golf, Korean medicine clinics, the Danish diet, and various exercise and diet plans, and in the end, I decided to try a liposuction procedure that I had heard about through word of mouth and from people around me.
◆ Reasons I received fat-dissolving/liposuction injections
1. I actually had someone around me who had received it I think there is a big difference between rumors and hearing someone next to you talk about their actual experience. Luckily for me, someone who had actually received the procedure explained the process and effect, which I think helped me decide to get it.
2. Same-day discharge As someone who works, I liked that the procedure finishes within about 2 hours and that I could be discharged the same day.
3. Safety from a procedure using very limited anesthesia, not sleep anesthesia-surgery Honestly, sleep anesthesia is a little scary. And when you say surgery, it also feels like a bigger deal. But because this was a procedure, it felt simpler and easier to do, so I liked that.
◆ Procedure day to Day 4 With a nervous heart, I watched the pre-procedure precautions video for the liposuction injections, changed clothes, and met the doctor in charge of the procedure. After looking at my body and doing the design, they went straight into the procedure. When the anesthesia first went in, it stung, but I was anesthetized quickly, and after that I barely felt anything, just enough to feel a little sleepy. As I dozed like that, the procedure ended, and when I checked the time, about 2 hours had passed. After the procedure, I received various medications such as bruise cream and antibiotics, and that was when it really felt like the procedure was over. Honestly, before the procedure I had worried about everyday life for about a week, but I didn't even feel discomfort that day, so I took the Bundang Line subway and got home lol
When I got home and looked at the procedure area again, gauze had been applied, and they told me I could shower after 24 hours. Inside the gauze, there was another bandage that I was not supposed to remove by hand, and they said to let that bandage come off naturally during daily life. Also, both flanks were bruised, and maybe because of the anesthetic solution, it didn't hurt, but the procedure area overall felt firm.
From the second day, since I like taking walks, I walked around the neighborhood, and walking was no problem, but when I tried running, the bruised areas hurt... Since showering was possible from then on, after showering I diligently applied bruise cream again and again... because that way the bruises would go away...
On Day 3, my weight had dropped about 1.5 kg compared to before the procedure (108.7=>106.4). I definitely felt that the procedure worked quickly... If I tried to lose that through exercise, it would be seriously brutal...
By Day 4, the bruises had become lighter and the surrounding areas had turned yellow... I guess that's proof the bruises are disappearing? My weight was 105.7 kg, and seeing it drop day by day makes me kind of excited. It made me want to do something more, so that day I ate shabu-shabu haha
After experiencing the first week, first of all, I felt so good that the weight was coming off well even without major exercise or diet control. Since it was coming off well, I feel like I also gained confidence that I can do it. Next week I will visit again for aftercare, and if I keep receiving aftercare and taking the prescribed medication consistently, I am starting to believe that I can become slim too haha
