When I had monolids, there was a line I had studied and studied, then made and wore around because I thought it suited me best. When I went for a consultation, amazingly, they recommended exactly the line I had been making. I thought, as expected, specialists are different, and since they seemed similar to what I was pursuing in the first place, the consultation went smoothly. Even though they were busy, they did not neglect the consultation or progress checks, and they had no sense of authoritarianism, which was really nice. As for the line, I can only feel awe at how they matched the symmetry this well.
If there is one thing that bothers me, it was that when I had sedation anesthesia (a small amount) for local anesthesia and briefly fell asleep, it felt like a trainee was in the operating room with them. It seemed like practice was done while I was briefly under sedation. I do think this probably happens at any hospital, but I feel regret that it would have been better if they had informed me before surgery and given me a choice. Anyway, once I fully woke up from the sedation, the director had me open and close my eyes and finished the surgery perfectly. I was completely satisfied with the result, but the process felt somewhat uncomfortable.
I think hospitals that do not disclose CCTV sometimes train on surgical patients, so I think you should check during your consultation.
