Has anyone had eyelid plastic surgery for medical reasons? Ever since I was little, my eyes were always uneven, and it turned out that my eyelid muscle was not fully connected, so when I was 13, I had surgery at a university hospital to connect the muscle in just one eyelid. They didn’t create a double eyelid, and they made an incision right above the eyelashes for medical purposes, but I don’t see many cases like mine. I lived with monolids, but as I lost fat around my eyes, the asymmetry has been getting worse and worse The eye that wasn’t operated on developed a double eyelid, and the operated eye seems to be folding open like an eye hollow, maybe because of internal scar tissue that isn’t visible If I don’t wear makeup, the difference between my two eyes is so severe that I’m now seriously looking into revision surgery. I’m really worried because only one side had the muscle touched I’m curious whether my case is really complicated, and whether there’s anyone like me. If there is, let’s talk
