I had buried-suture surgery at another plastic surgery clinic in the summer of 2018, and in the summer of 2023 one eye came undone, so I had revision surgery on only one side at Lee Wa Baek Plastic Surgery.
My eyes were swollen from crying, and I’m not sure if it was because I rubbed them, but the next morning when I looked, it had come undone.... (!)

My first surgery (July 2018, buried-suture): Yeoksam B Plastic Surgery
At that time, I thought, “I’m not going to do canthoplasty either, and it’s a simple surgery where they just pinch/fix it~” (Why did I think that...^^)
I didn’t shop around at all and just searched and really went anywhere.
I thought of it like getting a dermatology appointment... and had consultation and surgery on the same day. Looking back now, I really paid an expensive price too
But the problem then was that about a month after surgery, when I went for a checkup, they said the doctor who performed my surgery was no longer at that hospital!;;
Another doctor did see me, but since I wasn’t their own patient, I could feel they were seeing me more out of obligation, so I was a bit flustered.

My younger sibling’s first surgery (January 2020, incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty): Lee Wa Baek Plastic Surgery
Lee Wa Baek Plastic Surgery was a clinic I found in early 2020 while carefully looking into double eyelid surgery for my younger sibling.
My sibling was a high school student, so when they asked me to choose a hospital, I didn’t want to have them do it at the hospital where I had mine done. I didn’t trust it... ^^...
And epicanthoplasty and an incisional method looked essential even to me, and their eyes were deep-set, so since several procedures were needed, I ended up looking into it more carefully.
My conditions were, first, I looked for a hospital run by an individual director if possible.
After experiencing the doctor in charge disappearing, I thought a hospital run by an individual director would be much better. For A/S if the surgery didn’t go well, or when asking questions about anything.
Second, I wanted someone with a lot of surgical experience and also a lot of revision surgery experience.
Revision surgery is more difficult than first surgery, so I thought it was an indicator that could prove the director’s surgical skill and experience.
Also, revision patients would probably go after more worrying and searching. I thought the second choice of someone with surgical experience was more trustworthy.
In conclusion, my sibling’s surgery was successful, and even now, 3 years later, they are very satisfied and living well with pretty eyes.
So my aunt also had surgery here. Three people in our family have done it here....
That had a big influence when I chose a hospital for my eye revision surgery this time too.

My revision surgery (May 2023, buried-suture on one eye): Lee Wa Baek Plastic Surgery
I went to the hospital where I first had surgery and also went to Lee Wa Baek, but as expected, I was more drawn to Lee Wa Baek.
Also, because it was revision surgery, I worried it might be very expensive, but the cost was less burdensome than I expected, which was even better.
I had a wedding to attend in July, so I did it with some concern,
but after exactly ten days, the swelling had gone down a lot, and there was only a little bruising at the outer corner of the eye plus overall yellow bruising, so even when I went around wearing glasses, most people didn’t notice!
Around 3 weeks, there was no swelling or bruising, and it looked exactly the same as before it came undone.
Now, one month later, it is completely the same as before. A coworker who had incisional surgery was amazed
I wonder if there might be residual swelling (though I don’t feel it) and it could get thinner,
so I’ll come write another review in a few months! ^^
