I had a clear nose shape that I wanted, so I think the consultation was a bit easier. I told the director that I wanted it definitely straight, dramatic, and not thick like my pre-surgery nose, but more like a slim nose. He explained each part one by one and adjusted the line to a design that could be achieved as much as possible on my face, so I liked that. And because my forehead is flat, to make the side profile look more effective, I decided to get forehead fat grafting together when having the surgery. I went into surgery with expectations, but I swelled a lot more than other people. Many reviews say that once the nasal packing is removed, people feel like they can live again, but because of the swelling, I didn’t feel refreshed and it was a runny-nose war. But once day 4 passed, I could breathe through my nose and became comfortable. After one week, and from the second week, the swelling between the eyebrows and around the nasal bridge went down, so the line became visible, and it was exactly the feeling I wanted, so I was satisfied! Right now there is still swelling around the nostril wings and nasal tip, but looking at the nose shape, it’s the nose shape I described before surgery, and I’m so satisfied with the height too! Also, I didn’t have big expectations for the forehead fat grafting, but I think it’s the best. Since my nose is higher and my forehead projects more, my side profile looks more three-dimensional, so I really think it was such a good decision to get them together! And it feels like my nose is gradually settling, so I hope more time passes quickly and once the swelling goes down more, I think the match rate with the nose I wanted will be 100%! My nose really looked thick before surgery and it couldn’t be improved with filler, so that’s why I thought about rhinoplasty. Maybe I should have just had rhinoplasty sooner instead of getting nose filler. When the swelling goes down more, I’ll come back and post another review!
