This is a review of my revision double-eyelid surgery (incisional), medial epicanthoplasty, and lateral/lower canthoplasty performed by Dr. Park Jong-cheol at Jeonhu Glovi Plastic Surgery. About 5 years ago, I had buried-suture double-eyelid surgery, medial epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction, but one side came undone and the other side started to droop, so I began considering revision surgery! From the consultation, the doctor seemed careful and confident, and I trusted the consultation staff and the scale of the hospital facilities, so I decided to have the surgery. The surgery itself was quite painful, but the result was cleaner and more satisfying than my first surgery. The swelling still needs to go down more, but compared with my first surgery, there is less swelling, so overall I’m satisfied. The conjunctival edema from the lateral/lower canthoplasty lasted about 2 weeks, but after I consistently used the prescribed eye drops, it cleared up completely. Now only some bleeding remains in the white of my left eye. The bleeding seems to be disappearing really slowly, little by little. Right after surgery, the swelling in both eyes was uneven, and even the speed at which the swelling is going down is uneven, so it’s a bit annoying.. Still, I’m generally satisfied with the line and recovery progress!!
