Before before after after Hello, this is my review at 2 months after square jaw surgery at ㅅㅅㅇ. The reason I chose ㅅㅅㅇ was that I really trusted the director, and they identified in detail the features of my face that I had not known about and the areas I was concerned about. Also, the director carefully asked whether what they thought matched what I had in mind.
I did not want my face to simply become smaller no matter what. I wanted to minimize sagging and operate only on the necessary areas, while also expecting the lower face to become smaller, so I chose square jaw surgery, cortical osteotomy, and Invisible surgery extending to the chin. My masseter muscles were not already on the large side, so the director also did not recommend treating them because of functional concerns.
After surgery, just as the director said during the consultation, people around me said more often that I looked prettier and seemed to have lost weight rather than suspecting that I had surgery. I did not want it to look obvious that I had surgery, and I was satisfied because my lower face was reduced appropriately to the extent I wanted without looking artificial.
*For about 1 hour immediately after surgery, of course it hurt, but the pain gradually subsided and became tolerable. A few hours later, when I looked in the mirror and touched it lightly, I could clearly feel that the jaw had been resected, and it was so fascinating. From the next day to day 3, my cheeks became plump like I was holding candy in my mouth, and I could eat porridge too. After that, the swelling went down quickly, and people around me said there was almost no swelling, so I felt relieved. So by around week 2, even without a mask, it was at a level where it was barely noticeable that I had surgery, and the swelling gradually eased with warm compresses. However, even now, more than 2 months later, there is still some swelling that feels like slight firmness around the intraoral incision area, and other than that, there has been nothing uncomfortable.
