To briefly introduce myself, I’ve had my eyes touched so many times that people around me ask how many times I’m going to touch them, and I’m that sensitive about my eyes...
2015: After the college entrance exam, I got double eyelid surgery and, without knowing anything, had medial epicanthoplasty done together, so my lacrimal caruncle exposure became really severe and I became someone with a very strong-looking impression. 2019: For medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction, I searched hard and had it done at Eve Plastic Surgery. As the swelling went down and my eyes settled, people around me, including myself, said my eyes were so pretty. 2022: I had medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction again at Sisen Plastic Surgery, and it was just completely ruined. (My mom kept persuading me, saying the inner corners of my eyes were too pointy and I still looked strong, so I ended up doing it almost by accident. It’s something I regret a lot myself. At that time, when I blinked, both eyes didn’t open at the same time and opened sequentially, so it was a really stressful period.)
After that, I made consultation appointments again at another hospital said to be famous for medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction (a place where a beauty YouTuber supposedly had reconstruction and it turned out very well) and at Eve Plastic Surgery. At the other hospital, the doctor honestly said my eyes had been touched too many times and that the previous hospital (Sisen Plastic Surgery) had sutured them very strangely. After seeing the previous photos (after the 2019 surgery), he said that time looked much better and asked why I had done it... And he said that in cases like this, the only method would be to open them excessively and then reconstruct them again, and he refused outright, saying he didn’t feel confident. So I went back to the next hospital, Eve Plastic Surgery, feeling very discouraged, and they listened to the direction I wanted as if it were nothing and talked about proceeding with surgery, so I truly felt like..... I was being saved, almost in tears.....
2023: Completed my third-time medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction at Eve. (My mom and dad tried to stop me because I had done it too many times, but I pushed ahead. After the surgery, they actually said my eyes now, after surgery, look much better and that it was a relief.) 2024: Lastly, I received a micro-canthoplasty as after-service at Eve (they opened it just very, very slightly, exactly as much as I wanted), and I’m recovering now. I’m very satisfied.
As someone who had medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction 3 times and had 2 of them at Eve, Director Jung Yoon-jae is truly my savior.... Honestly, I really resented the hospital that ruined it It’s a place famous for lower canthoplasty, and these days maybe because demand for medial epicanthoplasty reconstruction is high, they seem to do that too, but if they’re not confident, I think they should honestly say so or not do it.. Anyway, I don’t know how to thank Director Jung Yoon-jae + there seem to be so many people like me worrying because their medial epicanthoplasty was botched, so I’m leaving this honest post at least like this. I don’t really join or participate in communities much, so the post may be very all over the place, but if anyone who read it has questions, leave a comment ~
