Before before before, after after after Hello It has already been almost 6 months since I had two-jaw surgery + square jaw reduction + chin surgery, so I'm writing a review!! The swelling has gone down a lot compared with the 3-month mark, and chewing has become much easier. The moment I most strongly realize that I had two-jaw surgery is when I cut food with my front teeth haha Before surgery, because of my malocclusion, I couldn't bite food cleanly, so when sharing food with friends, they would bite off their portions first and give me what was left, and I would eat that Now my bite is aligned to some extent, so I can bite food easily with my front teeth too. I still can't eat hard foods like before, but as time goes by, I feel myself gradually becoming able to chew well like before.
Looking back on when I had the surgery, it was so difficult, I worried whether the surgery had gone well, and the process was so painful and hard that I think I regretted it a lot. If I could go back, I used to say all the time that I would absolutely never have the surgery again But now, not only have all the memories become softened, I feel very satisfied with my changed appearance in the mirror, so I say that even if I went back, I would definitely have the surgery!!
People around me also compliment me a lot, saying it was good that I did it and that I'm so pretty. Especially, I'm so, so moved that I'm no longer afraid of being photographed Those who have malocclusion like me will relate, but it was everyday life to become sensitive even about photos friends took jokingly and to have my self-esteem drop.. Now I even like photos taken casually:)!
If anyone is considering surgery, I strongly recommend having the surgery without hesitating!! I think the reason I came to have such positive thoughts about the surgery is probably largely due to the hospital. They took such good care of me after surgery, and the hospital room was also clean, so I was very satisfied. I'm always grateful to the medical staff!!
