I went for consultations at 6 places in Seoul, Gangnam/Apgujeong. Please read my review and recommend a clinic or tell me which clinic looks the best I wanted to do it without an implant as much as possible, but almost every clinic said silicone would be necessary
I have a short bulbous nose, a slightly low nasal bridge, columellar retraction, and thick nasal tip skin.
For my nose, I want the nasal tip to be rounded (not pointed), the columella brought out, and I don’t have much desire for a high bridge. I want it natural.

Septal cartilage, ear cartilage, costal cartilage (donated rib), silicone 2.5-3 mm
This was what they recommended, and they said that without an implant, the effect would be very minimal. Both the consultant and the director were kind, and the wait time was short, about 10-15 minutes.
The price was in the high 7 million won range, and with an event (writing a review), they quoted the low-to-mid 4 million won range.
2. ㅇㄹㅌ Director ㅊㅎㅅ
No CT scan

This was the only clinic that said it could be done with bulbous nose correction, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage, meaning without an implant. There was almost no wait time. But the consultation time was short, and since they didn’t take a CT, I’m not sure whether implant-free surgery would really be possible. The price was ridiculously low (the event price). I think the original was around 4 million won, but they said it would be in the high 1 million won range with the event. But they said the event price was only possible if I made a same-day reservation, so I just left.
3. ㅍㄹㅁㅇ, had consultation with the chief rhinoplasty director
Had a CT scan.
Consultation fee 10,000 won
There was about a 40-minute wait, and the director looked very busy. I think the consultation time was really under about 5 minutes. Here too, they said without an implant there would be almost to absolutely no effect, and said bulbous nose correction, silicone, septal cartilage, and costal cartilage were needed.
Autologous costal cartilage: high 4 million won range, VAT separate
Donated rib cartilage: low-to-mid 4 million won range, VAT separate
4. ㅇㄹ

There was no wait, and everyone was kind, but it felt like they were pushing me too much..? When I said I was getting some consultations, they asked me to show them the clinics, then said they weren’t good and that I should do it at ㅇㄹ,,, (the consultant did). Here they said it was possible without using costal cartilage. Silicone 3.5-4 mm, septal cartilage, ear cartilage. They actually advised against using costal cartilage. But since they didn’t take a CT, I feel a little uneasy.

5. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ Director ㅇㅈㅎ

There was almost no wait, the director was very straightforward, and the consultant was kind too. When I asked if I couldn’t do my nose without costal cartilage, they said costal cartilage was needed because there is a possibility it could collapse. They said they would use silicone 2-3 mm, septal cartilage, and costal cartilage.
Autologous costal cartilage: mid-to-high 7 million won range, mid 6 million won range if writing a review

6. ㅇㅁㄹ Director Do (Since I’m planning to do eyes and nose together, I mostly went to ㅇㅁㄹ for eyes, but since I was there, I also had a nose consultation)

The consultant and director were kind, but I waited two hours... My appointment was at 6, but I met the director a little after 8. Here they said they would have to open it up to know, but that it could be done without costal cartilage, and maybe because I’m not that old, they advised against autologous costal cartilage. They said they would use bulbous nose correction, ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and silicone 2.5-4 mm.
It was in the mid-to-high 4 million won range, but with writing a review + because the wait time was so long, it became the mid 3 million won range.
My biggest concern is whether I should use costal cartilage I’m really torn. I want to build my nose firmly, but autologous costal cartilage feels burdensome, and donated rib cartilage feels uncomfortable to me Since I have a short bulbous nose with thick skin, I was recommended (by people around me) to use costal cartilage if I want a change, so I’m thinking hard about it.
For my nose, I want to visit one more single-surgeon clinic, so I’m thinking of ㅁㅋ or ㅇㅍㄹㅅ. What do you think? I also want to try going to ㅁㅇㄷ! I’d appreciate it if you could look over my list!!
