I got 3D cheekbone surgery and 45-degree cheekbone surgery through intraoral/scalp incisions at Bondi. It’s been about 4 weeks. I could choose between sedation/general anesthesia, and I wanted sedation so I could go home the same day without hospitalization, but my mom, who was paying for it, wanted me to do general anesthesia, so I proceeded with general anesthesia. There was no separate blood drain, and I was originally supposed to stay hospitalized for a day, but I had surgery in the first morning slot and rested in the recovery room. Once I came to and wanted to rest comfortably at home, I asked if I could be discharged, and they said I could if there weren’t any particular issues, so I came home with my mom. The major swelling seems to be all gone, but I think there is still a little swelling. Still, the before-and-after difference is big, so my family is amazed. My older brother used to tease me every day by calling me cheekbone monster, but now he says he doesn’t think he can tease me about that anymore and will look for something else to tease me about. Seriously, when will he ever grow up;;; Still, since he says he won’t tease me about my cheekbones anymore, that means the surgery went well, so I’m happy
