I had rhinoplasty a few years ago at a famous hospital in Gangnam.
My nose was bulbous with a hump, so it had a masculine look. Everyone tried to stop me from having surgery, but I decided to do it thinking that it would become even just 1% prettier than my current nose.
But I regretted it as soon as I came out of the operating room. Unlike the first consultation, an osteotomy was performed after surgery without discussion, and my nasal bones were asymmetrical. The nasal tip, done without an implant, was deviated because of the septal cartilage, and tip show-through and a pinched nose were also severe.
I used to be someone who loved going out, but I even developed social anxiety. There were many times when I was grateful for the COVID period, when I could wear a mask every day to cover my nose.
I really regret it. If I could turn back time, I would want to do it even if I had to bet my entire fortune. I desperately need revision surgery, but it is so hard to make up my mind.
The stress that it might happen again, and the fear that after revision surgery it might become worse than now, are still extremely severe. Still, I joined and am writing this, hoping that there will please be no more victims like me.
Please do not go to this hospital.
