A few days have passed since my alar reduction, and I think most of the major swelling that was going to go down has already gone down, but the shape of my nose is ridiculous.
I seriously regret getting alar reduction. I wanted it to look natural and unnoticeable, and even if it was noticeable, if it had looked better than before, I could have endured living with it even if someone noticed, but it is noticeable and uglier, so my life is ruined. I just wasted money and time and ended up looking like an idiot. Because they pulled my nasal alae, my nose looks like a squashed clay nose. The nostril asymmetry also got worse. Especially, I thought that if you do alar reduction, only the horizontal width gets reduced, but do the nasal alae unexpectedly become longer vertically? They cut out the fleshy part of the nasal alae and suture it, so why did the nasal alae become longer... From the side, the columella and nasal alae were almost at a similar height, but after surgery, the starting point of the nasal ala is below the columella. I cannot understand why it turned out that way.
