Review after going to consultations for first eye surgery
My left eye had little fat and my right eye had quite a bit of fat, so it was ambiguous whether I should do incisional or non-incisional suture double eyelid surgery.
Every time I went for a consultation, the recommendations were all different. I visited three places.
ㅅㅎ Plastic Surgery - Consultation fee 10,000 won. It’s famous for noses, and I heard they’re good at eyes too, so I had high expectations, but it was the least specific. I don’t know if it was because the doctor was confident, but it felt like, “It’s already decided what should be done for your eyes, so why do you keep asking?” so honestly it was frustrating. I ended the consultation with the least sense of how the result would turn out. Non-incisional suture double eyelid surgery was possible, but they recommended incisional surgery.

ㅇㅇㄹㅁ Plastic Surgery - The consultation felt somewhat standardized. It was brief, but I got a sense of how the line would be set. Everything was fine except that the consultant was too pushy. They said non-incisional suture double eyelid surgery would be okay.
Price 2.4 million
ㅅㅎ Plastic Surgery - The most detailed consultation. The doctor seemed confident. They recommended incisional surgery and recommended an upper epicanthoplasty rather than a medial epicanthoplasty.
Price 1.6 million
