Second head filler procedure // Real 1-month review

I had my second head filler procedure. For the first round, I had 30 cc done at ㄱㅇㅁ, and it cost in the mid-2 million won range. After about 1 month, only a little filler seemed to remain in the back of my head, and the crown area felt completely sunken again. It felt like such a waste of money, and after worrying about it, I chose 2 hospitals for the second procedure and made inquiries.

First of all, I had back-of-the-head reshaping with bone cement about 8-9 years ago. My head shape was extremely small compared with average people, and I had a flat back of the head, and the crown and side-back areas were beyond description. People who are concerned about the back of their head will know without me listing every detail of that stress. With bone cement, I had the sunken area treated where the crown connects to the back of the head, around the hair whorl. But bone cement has a limited surgical range, so you can never get the head shape you want. I think it is suitable for people who only want a sunken area of the head or just a very small part of the back of the head treated. For the second round, it has been about 1 month now, and the cost was 6 million won. I had filler done in the hairline, crown, back of the head, and connecting areas on the sides where the back-of-head filler was placed. If you look at the review photos you can tell, but so far I am satisfied. Since it is filler, it will gradually go down in the future, but I just hope it goes down slowly. Below I will write a comparison of the hospitals where I had procedures and the hospitals I asked about. If you are considering filler, I strongly recommend asking multiple hospitals and choosing the one that fits you. This time I realized you absolutely should not choose just because the price is cheap.

Hospital 1. ㄱㅇㅁ Procedure status: Had first head filler. Reason for visiting hospital: I saw the director here personally receiving the procedure on YouTube, thought it looked safe, went there without asking other hospitals, and had the procedure right away. Cost: Mid-2 million won range. Filler type: Just filler Duration: About 1 month (individual differences exist) Whether after-service is possible: When I asked the hospital because the filler disappeared too quickly, they said I would need to get more. They said they would give a discount, but even if I did it again it would cost more than 2 million won, and there was no guarantee it would not disappear quickly again, so I did not go.

Hospital 2. ㄷㅌㅋㅂ Procedure status: Consultation only. Paid 50,000 won consultation fee. Reason for visiting hospital: When searching on Naver, YouTube, and other communities, this hospital had the most reviews. Cost: 10 million won (80 cc). I went after seeing a review from someone who said they got 200 cc for 6.6 million won in August last year, but they said they cannot do that price now, the fee schedule has gone up, and they use a different filler now, etc... Filler type: Q.O Gel + hyaluronic acid mix Duration: They said verbally that it lasts long. 3-4 years? Whether after-service is possible: They said there is no after-service because the filler does not disappear quickly. Hospital 3. ㅋㅇㅍ&ㄱㅇㅇ (the hospital name is very long) Procedure status: Had second filler. Reason for visiting hospital: While searching YouTube, I did not see reviews for this hospital, but I confirmed that the video where the director explains head filler was uploaded quite a long time ago, so I thought I should inquire. Cost: 6 million won (here it is set at 2-3 million won per area) Filler type: Qvely + hyaluronic acid mix Duration: Individual differences, 3-4 years. Whether after-service is possible: They said that between 6 months and 1 year after the procedure, if a lot of filler has gone down or there are insufficient areas, they will do a retouch without additional cost. Regular checkups: They said they would check the post-procedure status once every month after the procedure.

I thought this might be what responsibility toward a patient looks like, so after finishing the consultation, I went home that evening and decided. It has been about 1 month now, and during the first week there was swelling in the treated area, so it hurt when I lay down on a pillow. Now when I touch my head shape, the protruding areas seem amazingly well connected, and I realize how important the director's technique is.
